Tools and resources – We understand that having access to the right tools and resources are important to help you and your staff streamline day-to-day administrative tasks. We have developed several new tools and resources to help make your experience with Highmark Health Options successful.
Providers must be enrolled with the Delaware Medical Assistance Program (DMAP) to be eligible to participate in our network. Providers not enrolled in DMAP will need to complete the MCO-only provider enrollment application before applying to Highmark Health Options. DMAP provides a new MCOP enrollment application guide to help providers complete the enrollment application.
After registering with DMAP, providers can begin the Highmark Health Options credentialing process. Refer to the following categories for provider types for credentialing. Instructions to help complete the credentialing process by category are available for download.
• Initial Provider Credentialing • Organizational, Facility, and Ancillary Initial Credentialing • Organizational Behavioral Health Initial Credentialing
Providers will receive a standard Highmark Health Options contract for completing once credentialed.
New providers will receive an orientation letter from their dedicated provider account liaison (PAL). Your new PAL is your primary contact for Highmark Health Options. Your PAL is here to help facilitate any updates or escalate concerns in the communities you serve. They are responsible for gathering and sharing your input and feedback on strategic initiatives. And together, both you and your PAL can identify any issues you have and develop solutions to ensure you receive the necessary support and resources you need.
